We had nothing to do with this.

Well, unless you count the script, which is straight from the book. Wink

Er... though I don't recall who wrote the intro. I remember the one I was working on mentioned beer at some point...

Yeah, SK is way off. If someone would have asked us, we could have told them that SK is much more...belligerent-sounding. I'm not sure what she should sound like beyond that.

And rather than having Van sound like an average Joe off the street, he should sound more...imposing, yet likable. Kinda like that guy who was on Seinfeld...He played Elane's boyfriend for a long while. I think he also played in the live-action TV version of The Tick (David Puddy, I think?). Strangely, I would also accept Charlie Sheen (probably because of his comedic work in Hot Shots).

A-yup. And we've finally gotten a chance to test out "Manga Studio 3"...which is going to be the actual, released-to-the-public version (we had been using COMIC Studio 2 all this time).

I do believe you mean Patrick Warburton, also voices Joe on Family Guy. That's a great pick.

And no offense to the story (which I adore), but that was so bad. I don't think whoever got this together actually LISTENED to those old radio shows. They need more side effects and a narrator to fill in the blanks for us. The production was just so..... bad.

Yeah, you're probably right.

Yes, she sounds too much like she's trying to be sweet and innocent. I would think she'd sound a bit more bitter and a little sarcastic. ("So what, you just hang out on the edges of forbidden forests, handing out quests to random passers-by?") Sweet, she's not. If Ari accidentally got knocked off a cliff, I don't think she'd be too choked up about it. Wink

As for Van... A lot of times I can hear Roy Conrad's voice (Ben in Full Throttle) for some of his lines. VVH needs to be deeper and more gruff-sounding. Warburton isn't too bad, though I thought he was a bit flat in what I saw of the live action version of the Tick. Maybe if he had a little more of the enthusiasm that the voice in the animated version had.
