There sure does! Problem is you want to try not to have every plot sound the same, but you still want the fashion to be there for a reason. But yeah, I mean, is it just me, or did it seem that way--that only the jerks in high school got attention? If you're a guy and you didn't get many girls in high school, it was probably because you were too nice.

Not only do the attention seekers get all of the attention and girls, but they also tend to rise on the corporate ladder in life and make a lot of money. Nice guys end up making manga on a decent income and finding a good woman . I'll stay a nice guy |

sounds like you speak from experience?
well, i'm glad finally someone is writing about this, there aren't that many headstrong girls in highschool (at least not mine u_u) infact, i stopped dating (currently) in school, because almost every guy is an asshole... and then i meet a nice guy for once and he's 20.... dammit. of course we also see the girl falling for an older guy a lot in manga as well... which i think tends to mirror life a lot... damn manga and it's politcally incorrectness
...and fashion=roxxorz, so anything that isn't bland, i'm happy with! although i totally concur when it comes to fashion manga, you can never base an entire manga about fashion... it usually ends up really boring (ex: main chara, "Ahg! I can't afford $10.99 for a yard of lace!!!!") so it always has to be spiced up a bit... with other genres... like sci-fi XD
ANYWAYS *i made a long post thingy kinda! yay for me! ^^* major congrats on teh book, i can't wait to see it... *crosses fingers* hearing about all these people on Psue getting book deals gives me hope... maybe your peeps' talent will rub off on me? XD one of these years i'll rival you all!!! buawahahahahahaha
ONE LAST THING: *yay caps!* looks like you did the chara sketches in ComicWorks? are you going to be toning it yourself?

I dunno, bein in college has actually gotten me into a lot of trouble concernin high school women... *shiver* And boys...
But congrats on the deal Tento. The genre might not be my thing but yer writin sure seems solid and interestin.
