Pseudomé Studio Projects

Some of you already know about this from the con but I can finally be out with it that I'm doing a series for TOKYOPOP!!!! Hooray!!! It's called "Fool's Gold", and here's the basic premise:

Penny, an aspiring fashion designer, comes to a realization that every girl at her school is fatally drawn to jerks. She decides to form an underground club that identifies these jerks and cures her members' addictions to them. Penny's nickname for these jerks is "Pyrite", or "Fool's Gold", thus the title.

So that's the surface plot, but really, I'd say this series is about love, fashion, deceit, labels, growing up, and the complexity of human nature.

It's set in a mountain touristy town in Colorado.

Jeez...that looks amazing!!!

The characters don't really look their age but they look so cool! Can't wait for it to come out!

But yes, it's mega interesting to hear more...*_* You didn't tell us as much when we were flipping through your portfolio. It was funny how much OTHER stuff you kept accidentally telling us, though. XD; Poor Tento either can't lie, or compulsively lies!

I...I forgot how cute freckles were. *_*; I want to go have some on a character now~ (They were going to be on one of my main characters, but I decided they didn't suit him...)

Waaaah I used to be a compulsive UN-lier and now I'm both that AND a compulsive lier! It's just random...

Actually, I think I lied to my aunt BECAUSE I was so pissed off at myself for not lying at other times aka giving out my cell number MA people and talking about my characters to you guys...

Oh, and I finally told her I lied to her. It sucked, but I can't just live like that...
