Thanks for taking the time to scan and post this, Maki!
*reads review* As a ferret owner, the first sentence is offputting. Most baby animals nip, and Peach generally only does so when she feels threatened. That's no reason why ferrets should be illegal in some states, and it's certainly not the message--that ferrets are dangerous enough to be illegal--I'm trying to put across in my book. And while Ms. Contino does turnaround this line of thought by the second paragraph, it's still a misleading opener.
Besides that small nitpick, I'm pleased with the review--it's extremely positive, yay!
Also, it's interesting to see what sorts of angles reviewers take on the story (for example, the comparision between Peach and Miss Piggy: weird! Not something I would've thought of, but an interesting observation). ^_^

No prob at all dear^_^V
Yea...at first as I went back to read the review during work(took the mag with me>.>;;; )...I got a rather negative impression of the review, until I read further.^_^...seems to be a rather good review to me! XD KUDOS! That DEFINITELY helps!XD
as for the Miss Piggy reference...yea...I laughed at first...and then was like...ah...Miss Piggy??...um..yea...okay>.>;; I've yet to understand how it is that Peach is anything like Miss PiggyT_O;; (having grown up watching the Muppet Show most of my life!^_^V )
But overall...so far so good with Peach's first impressions!^_^V _________________

I don't think you can get the issue I have until JanuaryT_O;;...as I have a subscription to it, so I get them earlier than the newstands and whatnot^^; as most subscriptions do that^^;
As for Peach Fuzz...haven't seen any sign of it either...course...living on the east coast...yea...takes a little longer for us to get it XP _________________

Congrats to Lindsay on this!
And I think it's because reviewers get an earlier copy, that's why you haven't been able to find it in some bookstores.

It smells like Peaches, eh? I was hoping it smelled like ferrets. XD
They make vomit-flavored jellybeans, after all, so why not ferret-scented books?
Hrm, if I ever get out of this pile of snow that is my house, I'll see if any of the bookstores have it. _________________ "See? That was stupid. Now I have to kill you."

| Hweh... I'm gonna just order it from Amazon or something. It's useless trying to get newly released manga here. |

Request it at your local book store rather than ordering from Amazon.com. I say this because for one, it encourages the book store to get new titles in faster (since they directly see the demand) and often, just one person putting in a request can make the store purchase a ton more, which is always good news for the titles creator(s). If the chain sees a request at one location, they'll often purchase extra copies for their other locations.
. . .
I know this because I'm a bad girl and use evil tactics to get what I want. . . |

I just saw some copies of PeachFuzz at the mall while doing some late Xmas shopping a week ago. There were some girls looking through it as well! That's pretty stinkin' cool!
Sidenote: Lindsay: Thanks again for hooking me up with the peptalk about toones. It really helped out! |

Finally picked up a copy and read it today! I was quite impressed...hilarious and cute, without being too sappy. I was laughing out loud while reading, which doesn't happen often! I'll also be buying later volumes. Congrats, Lindsay! _________________
